Mar 15, 2021 12:15 PM - 1:15 PM
Join us Monday, March 15th with guest speaker Anthony Waddell's presentation "A Leap in Learning 2021 Rotary Learning Center & the New District Training Model" Anthony has been a Rotarian for almost 4 years and is currently the membership chair at his home club of the Rotary Club of Atlantic International Passport. He is a member of the Bequest Society and is a recipient of the Paul Harris in 2019 and again in 2020 for his work at the District level. He is quite active with online technology training for the Rotary Leadership Institute Atlantic Division, is the chair of an international working committee for the eradication of global homelessness, is a founding member of the Rotary Action Group For Peace Greater Moncton Chapter and recently joined the Water & Sanitation Hygiene as a member. Anthony's most recent project is working as a coordinator with former RI Past President Barry Rassin and the African Directive for amputees along with a local middle school in the Moncton area to help projects in central Africa. When he is not doing – you can find him rocking out with the loudest fellowship of metalheads and sharing best practices with the fellowship of Educators. In his vocation as a remote online instructor/ facilitator, he stepped into the role of director of training and development for 2020/2021 with enthusiasm and commitment to move the training entirely online while providing engagement at a level unseen before. When he is not volunteering or facilitating the classroom; he is an import/ export consultant in 117 countries worldwide. Today he will be speaking about the online engagement for both Rotary International, the Leadership Institute, and the work being done at the district level. I am so pleased to invite you to the first in-person/zoom hybrid Rotary Meeting of 2021! The District has left it up to individuals clubs to decide about in-person meetings. After talking to our members and other clubs, we have decided to meet in person with the option to zoom in at the following link (same as always). One concern is that we have plenty of space to social distance adequately. For this reason, we will be meeting at a larger venue for the time being. We will be able to space out very well, but let's remember to wear our masks when not eating and drinking. Where: Jubilee Hall, Perry St, Sussex | ZOOM Zoom: Meeting ID: 886 0320 4524 Please note, there is an art class at the hall until 12. Please give them a chance to leave before entering the building. Can't wait to see you there, or on Zoom! |
