The special guest speaker joining Sussex Rotary for the weekly meeting of June 27, 2016, was Brianna Dunfield.
Lisa Sharp introduced Brianna Dunfield to the meeting. Brianna is a member of the graduating class of 2017 and recently was The Rotary Club of Sussex’s representative for the Adventure in Citizenship program.
Brianna spoke of highlights of her May 2016 Adventure in Citizenship trip to Ottawa. She spoke of listening to politicians, a business entrepreneur, refugee family, and other presenters along with experiences of meeting students from all across Canada, including first nations people from remote northern communities.
Brianna termed the experience 'life-changing' and thanked the Rotary Club for sending her.
