There was a great turn out for the Club’s Christmas luncheon held on Dec. 17, 2018, at the All Seasons Inn & Restaurant.

Special guests for the luncheon were 16 members of the Sussex Regional High School Jazz Band under the leadership of music teacher Rob Matthews...
During the meeting. President Lisa Brown presented a cheque to the band for $4000.00 for the purchase of a much-needed tuba.
The students played numerous songs at the beginning of the meeting before heading back to class. Their contribution was much appreciated and a great addition to our Christmas meeting.
President Lisa wrote on our Facebook page that “Today was our last Rotary meeting of 2018, and we were privileged to have the Sussex Regional High School Band join us. What a talented bunch they are along with their band teacher, Rob Matthews! Supporting the school band program is very important to our club, and we were so thrilled to hear them play for us this afternoon. What a great way to end our year! All is good in the world of Rotary!”
