Christmas Luncheon

Sussex Rotary shared our Christmas Luncheon together on, Monday, December 16th. We had a full house and a packed agenda.

Rhoda explained the day’s giving to LEAP. Each year at the last meeting in December, we "pass the hat" (envelope) to give to a good cause for the Christmas Season. This year, our very own Interact Club donated $150 to the LEAP program (Leisure Enjoyment for All People) at the Nutrien Civic Centre.

LEAP is a financial assistance program that focuses on raising much-needed resources to support those with financial barriers to physical activity. Supporting the campaign supports youth and families within our community.

Our Interact Youth wanted to help other youth in the area and Rotarian Shelley Vail challenged our Club to show support by matching or surpassing this amount at our meeting today.

The hat was passed around to collect and the Club exceeded $300! Way to energize giving Interact!
