Speakers Stacey Geldart and Jenny Powell representing Crosswinds provided the Club a presentation on the role of Crosswinds in the community.
Crosswinds has been in existence for more than 30 years and specializes in assisting individuals with disabilities. One primary focus of Crosswinds is to teach essential workplace skills, including reading, document use, writing, numeracy, oral communication, working with others, thinking skills, computer use, and continuous learning.
Stacey and Jenny handed out information about sponsorship and volunteer opportunities for the Crosswinds Race that will be held later this spring.
