On Aug. 13, 2018, District Governor Silvana Bosca made her official club visit to share with the membership the goals and objectives of Rotary International and District 7810 for the Rotary Year 2018-19.
Rotarian Bob Tremblett introduced Silvana. Silvana is a native of Bathurst and joined Rotary in 1995, and three years later, she became President. Silvana was attracted to Rotary because of its funding for physically challenged children.
Career-wise, Silvana started as a physiotherapist but then moved into management and hospital administration...
Before retiring five years ago, Silvana was a senior policy advisor to the VP of Medical Affairs for one of New Brunswick’s health regions.
Silvana started her presentation introducing the Club to her family – her number one passion. Silvana gave a very inspiring speech outlining the priorities for 2018/19, including:
- Support and Strengthen Clubs
- Focus and Increase Humanitarian Service
- Enhance and Strengthen Rotary’s Public Image
Past President Robert Kimball thanked Sylvana.
