June 25, 2018, was our last meeting for the year 2017 – 2018.
Our next Rotary Exchange Student, Kegan Wallace of Kings County Interact Club, introduced Lorenzo Lazzini, also an Exchange Student from Tuscany, Italy, who is currently staying with Kegan and his family.
Lorenzo will be here for the next three weeks, and then Kegan will return with Lorenzo to Italy...
In talking to Kegan’s mother, Tammy Scott-Wallace, on June 29, she said, “We have had our Italian visitor with us for one week, and this is just so exciting for our whole family. We are having a blast rediscovering our own Maritimes, and I could only dream of seeing what Kegan is going to experience in a couple of weeks!”
This type of student exchange program that takes place all over the world is just one facet of what Rotary is all about!
