Let's meet this week's Rotary Club of Sussex member, Taylor McWhirter!
Taylor was born and raised in the greater Toronto area. Taylor studied Business at Loyalist College in Belleville Ontario. She moved to Sussex almost three years ago on a whim with her now fiancé. She considers New Brunswick a completely new experience and is loving every minute of it!
Taylor works as a Small Business Advisor & Agriculture Specialist for Scotiabank. She has always been amazed by business owners and their entrepreneurial spirit! She feels very lucky to be able to help grow businesses within Sussex. Her favourite part of the job is learning about her clients and helping big dreams become realities. It doesn’t hurt that she also gets to pet A LOT of cows and she considers that to be a huge job perk! She also operates her own small business located in La Bella Si Salon & Spa! The Glow Station is Taylor’s passion project and creative outlet. She loves empowering other women to look and feel their best!
Taylor has been a Rotary member for just about a year now. She was introduced to Rotary by Julie Matthews and after the first meeting, she was hooked and loved the opportunity to learn more about Sussex, support the community, and meet like-minded individuals!
Taylor is a soon-to-be mom and believes it is so important to show her future son the importance of volunteering and giving back to your community.
