­ Hosting Rotary International’s 5th annual World Polio Day event was the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle, Washington, USA. They streamed live from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation headquarters, bringing together more than 100,000 viewers around the world. The world watched a video featuring global health experts and celebrities sharing Rotary’s progress on the road to polio eradication.

In Sussex, President Lisa Brown (center in red jacket) and Rotary’s New Generations Chair Alaina Alexander to Lisa’s right, and Rotarian Jason Thorne (far left) joined with the Interact Club members in front of the Town Office to promote “End Polio Now”.
