Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

On May 5, 2018, future exchange students and their parents from District 7810 gathered at Crandall University in Moncton with Rotarians for their exchange orientation session.

Pictured here is one of our Club’s two exchange students, Kegan Wallace, son of Tammy and Troy Wallace of Sussex, and this occasion was in the spring at Crandall University when the exchange orientation was held for the exchange students for 2018 and their parents.

Kegan is a member of the Kings County Interact Club and will be a great ambassador for our Club...

"I had a blast this weekend at the Rotary Youth Exchange Orientation spent with other exchange students as well as other Rotarians! I learnt so much useful information while making so many friends along the way! I’m so excited to be taking part in exchange this coming summer in France! Thank you to Rotary Club of Sussex NB and Rotary District 7810 for giving me this opportunity!"

Those were the words of appreciation from Lauren Lockhart, daughter of Rotarian Alaina Lockhart, MP and Rick, who will be visiting France this summer on her Student Exchange visit.

Lauren and Kegan will be great Ambassadors for our Club, town, province and country.
