On Feb. 19, 2016, the drum was stuffed by Rotary members of the Trip Draw Committee in preparation for the trip draw special bonus draw on Feb. 22. The draw was held at CJCW Radio Station, and the lucky winner was Barb Williams. The ticket was drawn by Past President Lou McNamara and was sold by Rotarian Robert E. Kimball. Five hundred tickets had were purchased at that point, and 496 tickets were eligible for the early bird draw.

On Feb. 19, 2016, the committee completed the audit of the 496 names who had purchased and paid for a ticket by Feb. 15 per the rules and placed the names in a medicine capsule before being put in the drum for the actual bonus draw.
The monthly winners are drawn and announced the first business day of each month at the radio station. The winner’s names are publicized monthly in the Kings County Record, and placed on the Sussex Rotary Club website and Facebook page for viewing.
